PATTERNS - FIG TREE QUILTS - BLOSSOM

I love nothing better than a challenge, so when I knew I had three days and (2) of the newest “Layer Cake” packs from MODA, the race to design something fun and simple was on. Here is the result! The quilt uses some of every single piece from the Layer Cake packs. If you don’t have those, don’t fret, you just need to cut your own 10” squares to start off & the rest couldn’t be more simple! Large blocks, easy piecing and simple sashing, make this project a snap to make!

When I was finished with the sample quilt, I realized that I had so many nice sized scraps leftover, that I designed several scrappy throws & projects as options for all those great little pieces.
